Located on the northern tip of Hawaii's Big Island, the small town of Historic Hawi is home to Kohala Winds of Change Health & Tea.  Newly opened in the spring of 2005 by owners Marc and Janet Melton, this shop offers the ambiance and serenity of a traditional old world Chinese tea house.  The richly colored red lacquered doors serve as a gateway to a careful and thoughtful presentation of fine teas and teaware.  As you sip on samples of expertly prepared teas, you are surrounded by jars of hand selected organic White, Green, Oolong, Red/Black, Scented, Puers and other specialty herbal teas.  Kohala Winds of Change  is also a traditional Chinese medical clinic, specializing in orthopedics and pediatrics.
