What is White Mulberry Leaf Tea? -
White mulberry leaf tea has been recommended in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for over 400 years. In TCM the leaves of the white mulberry tree (called Sang ye in Chinese) is considered a cooling blood tonic and believed to benefit both the liver and lung energy meridians. White mulberry leaf tea was also widely used in Greece and mentioned in ancient Greek medical texts.
What are the health benefits of White Mulberry Leaf Tea (aka. Morus alba Tea)? -
Chinese doctors most often recommend Mulberry leaf tea as a diabetes tea. However, Traditional Chinese Medicine also recommends White Mulberry leaf tea for anemia, dry constipation, prematurely graying hair and baldness. It is also commonly consumed as a natural way to counter the symptoms of the common cold or flu including, sore throat, headache and cough.
Why is Mulberry Leaf Tea recommended to Diabetes Sufferers? -
Modern research suggests Mulberry leaf tea may be helpful in managing blood sugar. Mulberry leaves contain a substance called Moranaline that may inhibit some of the stomach enzymes responsible for processing fats and sugars. This would result in fewer fats and sugars being absorbed into the blood stream. There have been no large-scale studies of Mulberry leaf for this purpose but the traditional uses combined with the modern research is encouraging.
Why is our Mulberry leaf tea is the best? -
We grow our mulberry trees on small farms in the highlands of Thailand. We grow it there because there is very little industrialization in this region. The air, water and soil are some of the best in the world and together they produce a very high quality Mulberry leaf tea. Because we work directly with the farmers we can insist on natural pesticide-free growing methods. We pan dry immediately and then follow with a forced air drying method that allows us to preserve the integrity of the tea. Our mulberry tea is slightly sweet with an earthy taste reminiscent of maple leaves.
We urge you to give our Mulberry leaf tea a try. Its fully pesticide free and caffeine free!

I have had many bowel issues for 2 years with 2 major surgeries. Since my last surgery I have not been able to eat I have been making the mulberry and jiagoulan tea and alternating them mixed with organic mullberry juice and tart cherry. I must have them everyday or I feel the effects of having little energy. I am thankful to find your tea and your company.

I was only drinking Mulberry Tea occasionally until I read more about the qualities of this tea and I now include it with the Jiaogulan tea every day. Sometimes I have it on its own just to enjoy the taste and benefits that way too. Thank you for providing this high quality tea!

This is not a review I want to know if I can drink this tea with my meals?, can I drink too much of the tea where it will hurt me? Like the lady from Pennsylvania I too have diabetes and I saw an article in a magazine and I found your website so now I want to try the tea, and if it does okay with me I would like to be a partner, and sell it to my other friends and family who has dibetes and high cholesterol. Can I let my granddaughter drink the tea too? she is 15 soon to be 16 years old. Thank you, Edith Johnson

Thanks for such a more than reasonable price for the white mulberry tea. And free shipping!! Best bargain in ages! And then there is more.... the personal emails!! Am hoping the product will help a blood sugar problem that was discovered. You might be interested to know how I learned of the product. A year or so ago while shopping at a local health store another patron asked the clerk about the white mulberry tea availability. Of course it was not on the shelf or ever heard of. The woman showed us a newspaper article from another country and unfortunately I do not recall which one. However the article touted the success of negating the serious diabetes in several folks. When I got home I researched the tea, found your website(the older one), put in a folder and now am using it. Often wonder if the lady researched and found you!
